Here at Wellington North Badminton there are several Badminton and Pickleball clubs which operate on a weekly basis. Find out more about our clubs below.
Pickleball Clubs , Monday Evening Club & Saturday Afternnoon Club 3-5pm Clubs are Wellington North Badminton Association operated.
All others are independent clubs who hire our facility to operate.

Every Saturday: 17:00 - 19:00
Each court has two games each to 21 points. Then change the partner or change opponent cross courts. Members make up their own games according to their skill level.
Sometimes the club will organise the competition with other clubs or internal members. The club will endeavor to make our games more competitive and enjoyable.

Khandallah Badminton Club

The club operates on doubles games with either a timed rotation or playing to points i.e 21 points.

The Mid-Week Badminton Club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am to 11.30am at Wellington North Badminton Centre, Taylor Park, Tawa. We have a mix of men and women and a variety of ages and abilities so all welcome! Casual players and visitors are welcome.

Ngaio Badminton Club offers play for senior and college players at the Ngaio Town Hall, Ottawa Road, Ngaio.
With just one court available, players will experience an enjoyable mix of competitive games and social activities (table tennis, Yankee tournament, Club Champs and occasional Club dinners at local restaurants).
The club will only operate at COVID alert level 1. If Wellington returns to level 2 or higher club sessions will be suspended.
Our season runs from April until October, and the first night for new or prospective members is FREE!

Pickleball Club Wellington North
Every Wednesday: 9.30am-11am and every Friday 9.30am-11.30am
$7 a time or $50 for a 10 trip.
Open to players of all ages and abilities.
Come along and try out the fast paced and exciting sport of Pickleball.

This is a girls and ladies club run by Chanmony and Mei, catered to playing women’s doubles, from social to intermediate to competitive level. All our communications will be on this group page on Facebook, e.g. numbers, dates & any cancellations.

This will be casual active participation and play for all ability levels. There will be no coaching on this programme, tamariki are encouraged to join a court and play with new faces and have fun. Facilitated by our coaches, you will be rotated around the courts, having an opportunity to socialize and play against new people, putting some of your skills to practice.
