After 4.5 years leading our Association our General Manager, Simon Lin, is resigning his position to take up a new job in Auckland. He has been with us through many challenges, starting with the successful transition from a volunteer-run sports body to a professional organisation. He has led WNBA through the challenges of COVID and has developed and implemented many initiatives to launch the association into a vibrant future. We are now providing much better services to our members than we could have ever hoped to previously. It is a massive credit to Simon who has built and developed an extremely capable team. They will continue to serve the association well into the future and realise our collective vision to provide players with the best badminton experience.
Simon will continue to be involved in badminton as a technical official, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours. The Board has commenced the process of appointing a new General Manager.
