Classes are for the school term on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our stadium in Tawa, and Fridays at Newlands Intermediate hall, beginning week starting 2 February 2026.We offer an extensive junior badminton programme here at Wellington North Badminton. We provide a player pathway catering from the age of 6, and for a range of abilities. The Shuttle Time Programmes are perfect to get the basics right from the start and prepare for social and competitive play; whilst our junior development and representative programmes will prepare those who are keen shuttlers wanting to compete regionally and nationally. Children begin in the Bronze class, once they have mastered the skills required for that class their coach will move them up to the Silver class. Gold class is invitation only and for players who have completed bronze and silver class.
