SUMMARY:Juniors' Talent Identification Day
DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in representing Team Wellington North in 2023? YES!! Further information below and follow the link to express your interest! \nJunior U13/U15\nThe Junior Under 13 and 15 squads is a development squad providing the opportunity for our young players to get a taste of competitive badminton. The squad members are expected to train a minimum of one on-court session on Monday 5.30pm-7.30pm & one off-court physical conditioning session which is TBC. \nSelected players are expected to compete in the Capital Region Novice Team Competition (18th April 2023). Players are also encouraged to compete in the regional sanctioned tournaments to further improve and gain early tournament experience. Focus for the squad is participation driven. \nA group of players in U13 & U15 will also be selected for our performance squad\, there players are also expected to compete in the NZ National Junior Team Championships (2-5 July 2023) and are strongly encouraged to compete in the regional sanctioned tournaments to further improve and gain tournament experience. There are also encouraged to attend training with the U17 & U19. \nJunior U13 & U15 Talent Identification is on Saturday 18th February 12.30pm. \nJunior 17/19\nThe Junior Under 17 and 19 squads are a combination of development and performance-based squads providing opportunities for our young players to perform at a local and regional level. The squad members are expected to train a minimum of two on-court sessions on Wednesday 5.30pm-7.30pm and Saturdays 9am-11am & one off-court physically conditioning session which is TBC. \nSelected players are expected to compete in the Capital Region Team competition (18th April 2023). We will loan a jacket to each player; Junior players will be loaned a t-shirt and a jacket.

DESCRIPTION:We welcome all girls and ladies to play! This is a club for social games of doubles and or singles\, depending on numbers. \nA good introductory club for beginners and anyone who wants to socialise\, and or get a good sweat in.
