Registration is now open for players who wish to represent Wellington North Badminton in a Seniors Representative team , Masters and/or Veterans Team for the 2014 badminton season. Players must be aged 34 or over prior
to January 1st to qualify for the Masters age group and 49 or over prior to January 1st to qualify for
the Veterans age group. Players may have to make themselves available for ranking games.

You’re invited to the South Island Masters Games, 5-13 October in Nelson. Over 3,000 participants, over 50 sports across 9 days. You don’t need to qualify or belong to a club you just have to be old enough and for most sports that’s 30 years. Wellington North Badminton's Veterans Division 4 team, a newly entered team this year, has won their competition and has been promoted to Veterans Division 3 for next season.

The Veterans Division 1 team, playing at home, had a solid start to the season with an 8-1 win against Taranaki and a 3-6 loss against Waikato.
Promoted to Division 1 after beating some fierce competition in 2009 the team is aiming to consolidate its position in the grade.
